It is with heavy hearts that the Concordia Family mourns the loss of one of our young alumni, Cameron James Smith ’15 who passed away earlier this week. Cameron was a young man of a huge heart and had a talent and passion for music, football, and video games. In his time at Concordia, Cameron was extremely involved in the life of the school participating in choir, symphonic band, jazz band, handbells, and varsity football. Since high school, Cameron had graduated from Sam Houston State University and was preparing to start work with Apple. To the many family, friends, classmates, and teammates, we are sorry for your loss.
A funeral ceremony for Cameron will be held at Concordia Lutheran High School in the Cafetorium on Saturday, Feb. 27th at 2 pm with a small reception to follow in the Commons.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Concordia Lutheran High School’s Music Program to honor Cameron.
Please keep the Smith family in your prayers as well as our alumni, faculty, staff, and administration during this challenging time.
